Overview

The conditions of the Caribbean are unmatched for diving. Crystal clear waters with a visibility that can reach 60 m. and a pleasant temperature (26/28 °). The shallow reefs (10/15 m) offer a great variety and quantity of marine fauna (angelfish, parrot, butterfly, moray eels, crabs, octopus, lobsters, etc.), while in the deeper ones there are specimens of larger size (turtles, groupers, rays, barracudas, etc.).

The reefs of Cozumel are part of the second largest coral reef system in the world. The Cenotes in Playa del Carmen are part of the first largest underwater cave system in the world.

We will do 2 days of diving in the colorful reefs of Cozumel, diving in warm and transparent water known for its abundance of coral, sponges, and thousands of fish. We will visit some of the cenotes of the Riviera Maya, the largest underwater cave system in the world. To dive in these cenotes, no extra certification is necessary (in addition to open water) since we will only be in the cavern area, without entering the cave.
